Talk Back Florida: Save Cigar City and Making the Most of Marketing
One hundred fifty years of cigar manufacturing history in Tampa could go up in smoke if the FDA has its way. We talk with Eric Newman, President of JC Newman Cigars, who explained what the FDA wants to do and how it could force Tampas LAST operating cigar factory to shut down. For 35 years, Jim Lindsey held vice-chairman posts at the worlds most powerful advertising agencies, including Saatchi & Saatchi Worldwide and McCarey McCall. Hes known for such memorable brand slogans as Little Debbies Unwrap a Smile and Red Lobsters We Put the Seafood Lover in You. Over the course of his career, Jim has worked on more than 60 national and international brands, including MGM/UA, Orion Films, Sears, Mercedes Benz and McDonalds. Jim is the recipient of more than 50 ADDY, Clio and Golden Quill Awards, and advertisings highest honor, The Silver Medal Award.
