At Frida’s Bakery in Largo… we learned who’s winning in the “Congressional cookie election” between candidates Democrat Alex Sink, Republican David Jolly & Libertarian Lucas Overby. Frida predicts that Alex Sink will win based on the “Alex cookies sold” and Frida boasts that her cookie elections are never wrong.

The pro’s & cons of Amendment 2: Medical Marijuana … which is on the November ballot was discussed in depth. Callers lit up the phones to talk to Ellen Snelling Chair Hill Co Anti-Drug Alliance who’s a partner w/ Save Our Society from Drugs & Ben Pollara, the campaign mgr. for “United for Care” sharing comments about their fears & experiences with medical marijuana.

Then we talked to Jeremy Bufford, founder of “Medical Marijuana Tampa” … a new school for people who want to learn more on how to build businesses around medical marijuana … IF the amendment passes on the November ballot. Jeremy talked about the unique class curriculum, business plan, economic impact and controversy surrounding his school.

Jill Witecki joined us on the show to talk about the Tampa Theatre’s new “Family Favorites Classic Movie Series.” Some great movie classics the entire family will enjoy every Sunday afternoon.
