Poll: 47% Oppose New St. Pete Pier
Today’s question concerns the fate of the St. Pete pier. The question about the pier was asked only in Pinellas County and the question was worded this way. The city of St. Petersburg is replacing the pier with a new structure called the lens. Do you favor or oppose this plan. We found 47% of respondents oppose the new pier. 29% are in favor and 24% don’t know. We asked Julie who lives in Pinellas County what she thinks.
