White House Wants Immediate Action Taken

There are three active investigations underway but President Obama has said he doesn’t want to wait for those. White House Press Secretary Jay Carney said Thursday the Obama administration believes immediate action must be taken based on the information from the preliminary investigation’s reports. As for who should be held accountable, the White house says it’s waiting for the full investigation to be completed. Carney refused to speculate about whether embattled VA Secretary Eric Shenseki will resign.

Meanwhile, lawmakers are growing louder — and more bipartisan — pushing for the ousting of Shenseki as more allegations are proven true. So far, he says he won’t resign.
