Obama Heads To Estonia For Key NATO Conference

President Obama will be in Estonia Wednesday, starting a trip meant to reassure NATO allies and send a stern message to Russia over the crisis in Ukraine.

The president is looking for further economic sanctions, but NATO is also looking at developing a military component in assisting Ukraine. Estonia is one of three NATO countries that directly borders Russia, and President Putin can’t be very happy with former Soviet states joining the NATO alliance.

Nor particularly, that Ukraine may one day follow suit, with its strategic oil resources, an underlying cause to the situation over there.
