Interview: Pentagon Specialists Head To The Border

The Boehner lawsuit is one step closer to the courthouse door. Next week before starting summer vacation, House members will vote whether to accuse the President of not enforcing laws as they were written.

The White House says it’s not paying much attention to what the president has called a political stunt. And just as he promised after meeting with Texas Gov. Rick Perry, President Obama has sent Pentagon specialists to the U.S. border to assess how National Guard troops might be used.

The soldiers would have no arrest powers but Republicans have strongly demanded that armed National Guardsmen be used to back up the border patrol.
