Interview: Illegal Crossings Surge Along Texas/Mexico Border

After six years of declines across the southwestern United States, illegal border crossings have suddenly skyrocketed in South Texas. More than 90-thousand people have been apprehended in the Rio Grande Valley in the last six months, up 69% from last year. ABC’s Jim Ryan tells us who these new immigrants are and why they’re ending up in Border Patrol custody.
