Second Amendment activists in Texas have recently tried a new approach to winning public support for gun rights: Openly carrying rifles and shotguns into restaurants and other businesses. About 150 armed protestors gathered outside a home-improvement in suburban Fort Worth on Saturday. But the practice has drawn criticism from the National Riffle Association.
ABC News correspondent Ann Compton is traveling with President Obama who is in Brussels for the G7 Summit, where leaders from Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Britain and the U.S. are meeting to discuss a number of issues, including the situation in Ukraine, Ukraine’s ties to Russia, global economy and energy. President Obama s scheduled to meet with Ukraine’s new president, as well.
Of course energy wasn’t the hot topic surrounding President Obama. It was the release of Pfc. Bowe Bergdahl in exchange for five Taliban prisoners at Guantanamo Bay, which Compton joined ‘Your Wake Up Call’ to discuss.
