Winter Haven Police are currently working a death investigation in the area of 21st St., NW in Winter Haven.
On April 10, 2014 at approximately 7:30 a.m., detectives were searching the field at the corner of Havendale Blvd. and 21st St. and located a vehicle fitting the description of 58 year-old Lynda Sorrell.
The vehicle was located in a wooded area about 500 yards from the roadway and a deceased female was located just outside of the vehicle.
Detectives are currently conducting a full investigation and more details will be released as they become available.
