Clearwater police released the name of a fatal stabbing victim, the Tampa Tribune reports.
Police were called about 7:16 p.m. Saturday to 1809 Albright Drive after Joseph Wood Jr., 49, was stabbed following a dispute with Edward Smith. Smith, 59, owns the home where the stabbing took place, and the victim also lived there, police said.
Wood Jr. was taken by helicopter to Bayfront Health St. Petersburg, where he later died, police said.
Police say the investigation into the case is continuing.
