According to Tampa Fire Marshal investigators, the fire at Domani restaurant was caused by an electrical/mechanical fault or malfunction in the walk-in freezer system.
No foul play is suspected. The Fire Marshal’s Office has declared the building a total loss. Estimated value of the building is $500k and the contents are estimated at $300k.
