Toddler Found Face Down In Pool Improving

A toddler found face down in a Winter Haven pool on Wednesday remains hospitalized for observation but is alert and eating on his own today, according to police.

At approximately 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Winter Haven Police and Polk County Fire Rescue Paramedics responded to a 911 call on the 700 block of Ave. L, SE where the toddler, Luis Stone II had been pulled from the pool.
