This morning (6/19) at 9:30 a.m. and 10:00 St. Petersburg Police Officer Janie Staples and Amos the Wonder Horse, who plays basketball, will be at the Police Athletic League teaching kids to “Just Say Whoa to Bullying!”
The media is invited for a photo op and interviews. Pop in and pop out during any of the classes or stick around for sound from Officer Staples and Amos’ owner Shelly Mizrahi.
The clasess will held outside on the front steps of PAL located at 1450 16th Street North in St. Petersburg.
NOTE: We’re trying to get the word out about the program due to Officer Staples and Shelly Mizrahi not being able to contact the schools themselves; schools in Pinellas County must contact them, the more coverage the better!
