A woman’s boyfriend is arrested after beating a man who is accused of making sexual comments and looking down his girlfriend’s shirt.
The Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office says Raul Ortiz, 55, was making sexual comments and checking out a witness. The woman notified her boyfriend, Erin Robinson, 19, of the incident as well as her family members. The witness knew Ortiz because he had dated Robinson’s father’s current girlfriend.
On August 11th, Robinson and two other individuals traveled to Ortiz’s residence followed by the witness to confront him about the incident.
They got into a verbal argument in the front yard. Robinson punched Oritz three times in the face causing him to fall to the ground. He then took Ortiz’s head and bashed it against concrete landscaping rocks multiple times. Robinson fled the scene and was later caught by deputies.
The suspect was booked into the Hillsborough County jail charged with attempted first degree murder.
The victim was transported to South bay Hospital and later moved to Blake Hospital in Bradenton.
