Overnight Stabbing Leaves Two Injured In Ybor

YBOR CITY, Fla.- Early Saturday morning two people were stabbed during an altercation in the Ybor City entertainment district, said authorities.

The incident occurred in front of Club Skye on East Eighth Avenue. According to a Tampa Police Department news release both victims received non-life threatening injuries.

One victim suffered minor injuries and a second victim was transported to a local hospital for treatment.

One person has been detained in relation to the incident. The investigation is ongoing and police will continue to look into the detainees involvement.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Tampa Police Department.
