A flatbed trailer transporting numerous pallets of sod was traveling westbound on I-4 in the left lane leading to southbound I-275.
While traveling the left curve ramp on southbound I-275, the driver lost control of the semi, which overturned onto its passenger side.
The semi traveled across the outside lane and onto the outside shoulder of the roadway and the sod was thrown all over the roadway.
The trailer came to final rest partially blocking the outside lane of traffic.
The driver didn’t suffer any injuries and alcohol was not suspected to play a role in this crash. He was charged with careless driving.
You can see on Google Maps that the traffic is backed all the way up to North 126th Street in Ybor City.
