Deputies Clear The Scene Of Suspicious Device
Sarasota deputies were on the scene at a Sarasota apartment complex for a suspicious device.

As of 9:52 a.m. the scene was cleared and deputies said it is non-hazardous. The suspicious device ended up being plastic and glass bottles, screws and debris.

Deputies Investigating Suspicious Device
The Sarasota County Sheriff’s Office’s Hazardous Devices Unit and Sarasota HAZMAT are on the scene at the Strathmore Riverside Villas apartment complex in Sarasota in response to a suspicious device.
Tuesday morning a maintenance worker found something outside of the front door at about 7:45 a.m., said deputies.
Roadways around the complex located at 2700 block of Riverbluff Parkway remain open at this time.
