Tampa: 4 Year Old Shot In Arm From Stray Bullet

Update: School lockdowns have been lifted as police search for gunman.

According to Tampa Police, officers are on scene of a four year old child shot in the arm. The child, later identified as Renaldo Moore, was walking with his mother when he was shot in the arm and taken to Tampa General Hospital.

Police say two suspects were fighting with each other at Chestnut Street and N. Oregon Avenue at 11:00am. One of the bullets from the fight traveled 250 yards north and hit the 4-year-old boy.

Just Elementary, Stewart Middle Magnet, and Mt. Pleasant Standard-Based Middle Charter School are all on full lockdown, according to the district. Dunbar Elementary and Blake High School are on modified lockdown because of police activity in the streets.
