Supreme Court Refuses To Consider Arizona Immigration Law

The package of state laws meant to discourage illegal aliens from settling in Arizona suffered another setback Monday, when the U.S. Supreme Court declined to consider the provision that makes it illegal to harbor or transport undocumented aliens. A lower court had sided with the American Civil Liberties Union, saying that the Arizona law was too vague and would make it a crime to give relatives a ride if they were in the country illegally.
