Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office detectives are investigating an attempt suicide from the Skyway Bridge.
It happened at approximately 1:30 p.m. Thursday afternoon.
Deputies responded to the Skyway Bridge in reference to a 911 call that a man had jumped from the center span and was picked up a boater.
The man was taken to O’Neils Marina where he was then transported to Bayfront Medical Center in St. Petersburg.
He is listed in serious condition.
Detectives have do not have a positive identification yet.
