Son Keeps Promise, Buys Dad ’57 Chevy For 57th Birthday

As a little boy, one son made a seemingly farfetched promise to his father.

Decades passed and Mike King never forgot that promise he made when he was an 8-year-old boy to give his dad a 1957 Chevy Bel-Air on his 57th birthday.

King worked 60-hours week at a factory to be able to afford the car and had been hiding it for the past two years.

His father had always dreamed of owning the car but knew he’d never be able to afford it.

The Orlando Sentinel provided this story and the video below in which Roger King lets out a soft “no” before bursting into tears when he sees the car sitting in the garage.
