Sheriff: N.C. man kills Fla. cousin with SUV

MANNING, S.C. – The Clarendon County sheriff says a fight between family members led a man to pin his cousin between two SUVs, killing him.

Sheriff Randy Garrett said 35-year-old Roosevelt Sabb Jr. of Wilson, North Carolina, was charged with murder after the incident at a family member’s house in Manning.

Investigators say Sabb and his cousin 46-year-old Keith Smith of Palm Beach got into an argument and Sabb got in his SUV and rammed it into Smith, pinning him against the other vehicle.

A special team of state troopers is helping investigate the incident.

Sabb is in jail awaiting a bail hearing. It wasn’t known if he had a lawyer.
