Monday morning around 11:28am the Pinellas Park Police department responded to a call of a person shot at a residence at 5815 89th Avenue N. Police found Jerry Wayne Wright, 35, injured inside the house suffering from a gunshot wound.
An altercation took place between Wayne and another black male. During the altercation, the black male subject shot Wright. He suffered serious injuries and underwent surgery earlier this evening. He remains at a local hospital in serious condition.
