Getting around downtown St. Petersburg is about to get a little harder as the IndyCar Weekend is coming.
The event is scheduled for March 28th through March 30th. Preparations take 5 weeks and tear down takes two weeks after the event ends. Walls, fences and grandstands are expected to be built.
Last year’s race weekend drew 125,000 fans.
