ST. PETERSBURG — A 57-year-old man died after being struck by a car on Gandy Boulevard Saturday night, the Florida Highway Patrol said.

About 10:30 p.m., Billy Ray Sanders of Orlando was walking north from 13040 Gandy Blvd. to another residence when he walked into the path of a Hyundai, driven by Juan L. Lopez of Tampa, that was traveling east.
