Possible Gang Violence at the University of Tampa

At approximately 9:38 p.m. last night, a small, four-door, grey or beige vehicle bearing a license tag of 439 NFY (unknown state) entered campus at the North Boulevard/North B Street intersection. The vehicle drove east on North B Street to North Brevard Avenue at which time the occupants encountered a group of male students on foot. The occupants yelled profanities from the car. They then exited the car and hit one of the students on the face and head. Other students who witnessed the incident ran toward the scene, and the suspects fled campus. It is unknown if the suspects are students. The male student who was hit suffered minor injuries and declined medical attention.

The suspects are described as follows:
Suspect one: Caucasian, 5’9″ tall, with a shaved head
Suspect two: Caucasian, 6’1″ or 6’2″ tall, wearing a pirate hat
Suspect three: Caucasian, 6’1″ or 6’2″ tall, wearing a pirate hat, white long sleeved shirt and black sweatpants with a sloppy haircut and some facial hair. This person was the driver of the car.
