Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office detectives are investigating a homicide at the Avesta Apartmnents located at 2016 131st Avenue East.
At approximately 2:51 a.m. deputies responded to a report of gunshots heard in the area of the apartment complex. When deputies arrived they discovered a deceased male in the courtyard of the complex.
The victim has been identified as 33 year-old Kortney Dubron Jerry of Riviera Beach.
Cops found Jerry’s body outside a car full of drugs.
The investigation continues.
