Tampa Police detectives are working to locate Victoria Smith for the Florida Department of Children and Families (DCF). On April 4, the state agency obtained an emergency court order demanding the father to return the child to state custody for necessary medical treatment. The missing 7-month-old infant is believed to be with her father, Joe Smith who does not have legal custody of his daughter.
TPD Detectives are asking for the public’s help in locating Victoria and her father who is also wanted for drug related charges. The child’s mother is currently incarcerated. Anyone who has information about either of their whereabouts is asked to contact Crime Stoppers immediately. Anonymous tips maybe eligible for a cash reward of up to $1,000.
