Hillsborough County Fire Rescue was called out to 4707 Wilder Road in Plant City after receiving calls about a burning double wide trailer. Crews were able to contain the fire. The residents evacuated prior to their arrival.
Due to the lack of hydrants in the area, water shuttle operations were established, HCFR said.
There were no injuries reported although only three of the four family dogs were rescued. American Red Cross was on scene to help with the family’s displacement.
The investigation continues. The cause of the fire is unknown at this time.
