AMBER ALERT: Citrus County Toddlers Abducted

CITRUS COUNTY, Fla.- An Amber Alert has been issued for two toddlers that were abducted when their homeless mother burst into the house of their legal guardian and took the two children, said the Citrus County Sheriff’s Office.

According to the Sheriff’s Office, three-year old female Rylan Williams and 1-year-old male Mason Williams were placed by legal court order with another person, who became their legal guardian. Stacey Williams, 38, is wanted on charges of burglary with battery and interference with child custody.

New information has suggested that the children’s mother, Stacey Williams, is traveling with her husband and the children’s father, Ryan Williams. According to the Citrus County Sheriff’s Office, the two have a volatile relationship and are active drug users. Information has also suggested that the four may be traveling in a white Ford Expedition.

Apparently on Saturday Williams texted the children’s legal guardian insisting to see the children. She was told no. Later that day Williams barged into the Lecanto house and grabbed and smashed the guardians phone when she tried to dial 911. Deputies reported that Williams also scratched the woman’s face.

She then picked up the children and carried them away. The guardian wasn’t sure if Williams was driving that day, but she noted that is normally seen driving a white 2004 Ford Expedition with tag DNSC62.

Citrus County Sheriff’s Office has received tips that say the couple may be heading to West Virginia with the children. Authorities there have been alerted.

Authorities are asking for the public’s help in locating the two toddlers. They advise to call 911 or CrimeStoppers at 1-888-ANY-TIPS if anyone sees the children or the woman.

Rylan was last seen wearing a pink dress with no shoes. Mason was last seen wearing an orange shirt and a diaper. Both adults have a known criminal history.
