Memorial Day Brings Crowded Highways, Skies

Memorial Day weekend marks the traditional start of summer and millions of Americans are expected to hit the road or head for the airport. One airline industry organization expects summertime air travel in 2014 to be at its highest level in six years, with 210 million Americans taking to the skies. If you think the airline Terminals are crowded, wait until you see the highways starting Friday. More than 80% of people who travel for the weekend will do so by car, truck or SUV.

AM 820 News anchor Robert Pankau discussed the topic with ABC News correspondent Jim Ryan, who is in Dallas, Texas.
