Man Loses Control on I-75, Dies After Hitting Concrete Pillar

On April 7th at 7:09 AM, a 2002 Chevy Suburban was traveling northbound on the I-75 access road from US Hwy 301 in the inside lane.

For unknown reasons, the driver, 40-year-old Michael Richard Nadeau , failed to maintain control of the vehicle, which traveled onto the left shoulder of the roadway and into the grass median which divides I-75 and the access road.

The vehicle continued forward and collided with a concrete pillar supporting the SR-618 overpass.

The driver sustained fatal injuries and expired at the scene of the crash.
