A man who had to have been drunk told Polk County deputies that he was a pterodactyl after being arrested for battery on an officer. He was arrested for splashing an officer as well as disorderly conduct and resisting officers without violence, according to The Ledger:

Richard Campagna, 36, of 23040 Bradford Ave. in Port Charlotte, was arrested at the end of the incident that lasted about 30 minutes on Wednesday after causing a ruckus at the water park, according to a Polk County Sheriff’s Office arrest report.

The Sheriff’s Office said he is charged with battery on a law enforcement officer, a felony, for splashing water on a deputy, as well as disorderly conduct and resisting officers without violence.

Campagna ran into the park’s lazy river, which had several children in it. Police tried to taze him. But after only one prong stuck him, the operation was unsuccessful. It took several police as well as Legoland security to take him down.

Police said he came into the park alone and that no one was injured in the incident.
