A van vs motorcycle crash that happened last night has left a man dead.
Sunday night at 8:49 p.m., 60 year-old Roger Carlin of Dacula, GA was traveling northbound on CR 579 in his 2006 Ford Econoline Van and stopped to turn left onto Joe Ebert Road. Joshua Tonry of Tampa, 23, was traveling southbound CR 579.
Carlin started to turn left and entered the path of Tonry. Tonry applied the brakes on the 2011 Honda motorcycle and slid into the van.
Tonry sustained fatal injuries in the crash.
