Man Charged With Felony Obstruction With Violence

David Wade Hall, 41, has been charged with felony obstruction with violence and misdemeanor exposure of sexual organs after he exposed himself near the area of Osprey Avenue and Main Street in Sarasota on Friday, May 30, 2014.

Officers were dispatched to the area of Osprey Avenue and Main Street at about 5 p.m. on Friday, May 30, 2014, regarding a man who was allegedly exposing his genitals.

Officers located Hall in the 1700 block of Main Street, sitting on a wall, facing an area business. Officers walked up to speak with Hall and noticed he had bulky pockets. Officer asked Hall to stand up and when he did, Hall took off his jacket and then lifted up his t-shirt and exposed his genitals to officers.

When officers attempted to arrest Hall, he resisted and ultimately it required two police officers to take him into custody. Hall was arrested and transported to the Sarasota County Jail. He’s currently being held on a $2,000 bond.
