Update: Deputies have advised that a curb lane north and southbound have been opened up to traffic on Gulf Boulevard between 136th and 137th Street. (However, no trucks or high profile vehicles will be able to pass at this time.)

At this hour Pinellas deputies have advised that Gulf Boulevard between 136th and 137th Street is closed to traffic in both directions. Deputies are currently on scene diverting traffic around the area after a truck clipped the power lines.
Duke Energy is enroute to the scene, according to police.
Please avoid the area if possible.
