Lil’ Boosie, Others Coming To Tampa Soon

TAMPA, FL – Rapper Lil’ Boosie announced to fans that he will be taking his “Touch Down 2 Cause Hell” (TD2CH) album, to be released this summer, on tour invading the Tampa Bay Times Forum on June 20, 2014 at 8 p.m. The TD2CH tour also includes performances by rapper Yo Gotti and hip-hop artist August Alsina.

About Lil’ Boosie

Rapper Lil’ Boosie’s hard Southern style comes from growing up in one of Baton Rouge, LA’s more notorious neighborhoods. Around the time he was starting high school, Boosie started rapping on tracks. A mutual friend of Boosie and local rapper C-Loc introduced the two and before Boosie knew it he was recording his homemade raps in a professional studio. An appearance on C-Loc’s 2000 effort It’s a Gamble became Boosie’s debut and his career started. Boosie’s sixth studio album Touchdown 2 Cause Hell will be released on July 15, 2014.

About Yo Gotti

Rapper Yo Gotti announced in early 2013 that he and his label CMG had been signed to a distribution deal with Epic Records from longtime business partner L.A. Reid. The first single from his sixth studio album I Am titled “Act Right” features Young Jeezy and YG. The song debuted at #5 on the US Billboard Bubbling Under Hot 100 Singles chart, at #33 on Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart, #24 on the Rap Songs chart and peaked on the Hot 100 making it Gotti and YG’s third Hot 100 entry. The album’s second single “King Sh*t” featuring T.I. peaked at #5 on the US BillboardBubbling Under Hot 100 Singles chart. About August Alsina

With his buzz building, August Alsina was named one of MTV’s 2013 Fab 5, their annual list of hip-hop artist to watch. Exposure on the network helped to make his independent video “Downtown” ft. Kidd Kidd a viral hit generating nearly one million views in less than two months. The autobiographical song/visual would become the title track for Alsina’s first official NNTME/Radio Killa/Def Jam release, an 8-song EP titled Downtown: Life Under the Gun which offers collaborations between Alsina and Jame$ & Kidd Kidd, along with NOLA veteran Curren$y, and Atlanta newcomer Rich Homie Quan.
