The Largo Police are investigating a fatal vehicle crash on Starkey Road just south of Ulmerton Rd.
Initial information indicates that a 2008 Chevy was southbound on Starkey Rd. when it veered out of control sliding sideways into a culvert. The vehicle went airborne and rolled at least once causing the passenger to be partially
ejected out of the vehicle.
The 31 year old passenger, Shannon Ollek, was pronounced deceased onscene. Both occupants were not wearing their seat belts. Alcohol is a factor in this crash and charges are pending the outcome of the investigation.
