ROCKLEDGE, Fla. (AP) — A central Florida man has been arrested in the death of his infant daughter, who authorities say was left in the man’s truck for at least four hours. Rockledge police say 31-year-old Steven Darnell Lillie was charged yesterday with aggravated manslaughter in the death of 9-month-old Anna Marie Lillie.

LAKE MARY, Fla. (AP) — Three people in central Florida face charges for feeding bears and other wildlife in an area where a woman was mauled by a bear in April. After the attack on Terri Frana, wildlife authorities killed more than a half-dozen bears that showed signs of being accustomed to human food, either from garbage or human feeding.

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (AP) — A northeast Florida man has been sentenced to life in prison for killing a Jacksonville firefighter. A Duval County judge sentenced 33-year-old Charles Edward Pearce yesterday. Prosecutors and defense attorneys agreed that Pearce was delusional in 2011 when he killed Mike McCue.
