The U.S. fell to Belgium 2-1 in overtime Tuesday afternoon in the Round of 16 of the World Cup. Tim Howard blocked 16 shots, a record for any World Cup game, yet the U.S. still lost. Despite the loss, social media was singing Howard’s praises, recognizing a magnificent effort.
