Interview: Second Ebola Victim To Arrive In Atlanta

An ambulance arrives with Ebola victim Dr Kent Brantly, right, to Emory University hospital on Saturday.

A second member of a hospital mission team who contracted Ebola in Liberia after treating patients suffering from the dangerous virus is scheduled to arrive at Atlanta’s Emory University Hospital on Tuesday for treatment. Nancy Writebol will be treated at the same hospital that is treating Dr. Kent Brantly.

Both show signs of improvement after receiving an experimental anti-serum. The experimental drug is so novel it has never been tested for safety in humans and was only identified as a potential treatment earlier this year.
