Interview: John Kerry Assures U.S. Support If Iraq Leaders Unite

Secretary of State John Kerry says the fate of Iraq may be decided over the next week. He says that chilling assessment is largely dependent on whether its leaders meet a deadline for starting to build a new government. But that means nothing to the Sunni militants who’ve recently captured two key border posts. Also, on Monday, gunmen ambushed a police convoy transferring prisoners south of Baghdad.
