Over the weekend Google updated their logo ever-so-slightly. Yet, people didn’t fail to take notice. It was first spotted and ratted out by Reddit users and then picked up by multiple other publications.
But the snag here is that the change is so slight, who would notice? Google moved the second “g” a little to the right and the “l” slightly to the right and lower. Here’s a GIF of how slight of a change this really is. You almost have to squint to see anything different.
Looking at the Google home page who would see that?! Apparently a slue of people:
“Great to see people notice and appreciate even single-pixel changes — we tweaked the logo a little while ago to make sure it looks its sharpest regardless of your screen resolution,” said Google in a statement to Mashable.com.
This is the second time that Google has updated their logo. Once again, much like this most recent change, it was barely noticeable.
