DETECTIVES NOT LOOKING FOR SUSPECTS IN FATAL TAMPA FIRE

An executive with a fireworks company says a Florida man found dead inside of a burned home bought more than a dozen items from a store a few days ago. William Weimer, vice president of Phantom fireworks, said Thursday that Darrin Campbell purchased the fireworks Sunday. Campbell’s father-in-law says Campbell, his wife and their two children were found dead Wednesday in a home they were renting.

CRIST CRITICIZED FOR PLANNING TRIP TO CUBA

Republican gubernatorial candidate Charlie Crist criticized his opponent for traveling to Cuba on a fact-finding trip. Democratic gubernatorial candidate Crist now wants to visit the communist island to find facts of his own. Crist said during his 2006 campaign that Democratic opponent Jim Davis shouldn’t have visited Cuba on a congressional trip, saying “I know when it’s time to visit Havana, and it’s when it’s free.”

BURGER KING OFFERS BURGERS FOR BREAKFAST

Burger King has announced new additions to its breakfast menu — flame broiled hamburgers. The Miami-based chain says its “Burgers at Breakfast” includes its Whoppers, Cheeseburgers, and Big King sandwiches. There is also the Original Chicken Sandwich, french fries and apple pie.

SEARCH CONTINUES FOR MAN ACCUSED OF KILLING WIFE

Authorities are searching for a man suspected of killing his wife in front of their three children at a park in an Orlando neighborhood. Deputies say 54-year-old Julian Paris shot 34-year-old Liza Nicole Adderly multiple times at the Dr. Phillips Community Park on Wednesday afternoon. He fled in a white car. Adderly was taken to a hospital where she was pronounced dead a short time later.

COAST GUARD SEARCHING FOR MISSING MIAMI BOATER

The U.S. Coast Guard says it is searching for a Miami man reported missing following a weekend fishing trip in Key West. The man’s wife reported him missing. He was on a 28-foot white center console vessel named Miss Juliette.
