OFFICE DEPOT PLANS TO CLOSE AT LEAST 400 US STORES
Office Depot says it is planning to close at least 400 stores in the United States by 2016 following the merger with Office Max. The company had 1,900 retail stores in the U.S. at the end of the first quarter, so the plan calls for closing about 21 percent of them.
