East Lake Fire Rescue units responded to a structure fire on Monday morning, March 17th at 1200 Tarpon Woods Boulevard. Arriving crews encountered heavy smoke inside the structure, fire rescue said.
The initial call was received at 8:05 a.m. The fire was located in the closet of a two bedroom condominium. The situation was brought under control within 25 minutes. Three people were evaluated for smoke inhalation. No one was hospitalized. Fire crews also responded from Oldsmar, Palm Harbor and Safety Harbor. The cause of the fire is under investigation but does not appear to be suspicious.
