Detectives Release Video Of Post Office Robbery

The video is of a robbery which took place at the Open Air Post Office located at 76 4th Street North at about 4:15 p.m. on Monday, February 10th.

The suspect, described as a black male about 6’0, 190 pounds, early 40’s, walked into the post office and asked for a book of stamps. The clerk ran up the sale, then the suspect slid a newspaper across the counter with a note written on the front of it. The paper indicated that this was a robbery. The suspect verbally said he was armed. After he suspect received the money from the clerk, the suspect fled the scene on foot.

No gun was was seen.

The suspect was last seen wearing black/purple ball cap, large dark lens sunglasses, black sweat pants, black sleeveless shirt.
