Hillsborough County deputies area asking for the public’s assistance in a home invasion/robbery of a 90 year old victim. Police are not releasing the name or address of the victim.
On April 11, 2014 at approximately 2:21 p.m., two unknown suspects who represented themselves as roof repair men forced their way into the victim’s residence.
One of the suspects pushed the victim down on the floor and stayed with him while the other suspect ransacked the master bedroom removing jewelry. The suspects then fled in a newer model silver Chevrolet Silverado. The truck is described as a newer model silver Chevrolet Silverado extended cab with after market chrome rims. There is also a Tonneau type cover over the bed of the truck. This is an actual photo:
The suspects are described as a white male, 30 – 49 years of age, approximately 5’7″, 175 – 195 pounds, possible middle eastern accent and another white male, 30 – 49 years of age, approximately 5’7″, 150 pounds.
The victim was not injured during the home invasion.
