A 17-year-old boy is dead after playing on train tracks.
Giovannie Gonzalez was hit and killed by a freight train in Daytona Beach. Police say he was standing facing the train holding a skateboard and tried to jump off the tracks at the last second but it was too late.
They also allege that the conductor blew his horn and slammed on the brakes. The train didn’t stop in time, nor did the victim move in time.
He was rushed to the hospital and died on the way.
