The accidental shooting death of a firing-range instructor in Arizona has prompted a vigorous debate over youngsters and firearms. 39-year-old Charles Vaca was standing next to a 9-year-old girl at a shooting range in Arizona when she pulled the trigger.

The recoil forced the weapon upward and Vaca was shot in the head and would later die. It isn’t the first accident involving a child and a firearm at a weapon and a social-media firestorm has erupted over the shooting.

ABC’s Jim Ryan joins us from Texas to discuss.
